Speaker: Robert P. V. Nordan (NORKART AS)
A lanky geek with a special passion for everything geographic and everything open source, possibly born from a particular Norwegian tendency to enjoy long hikes in the wilderness and being of the opinion that everyone should have the same opportunities to get lost in the mountains and/or have access to useful tools without having to pay for it.
Graduated from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2012 with a master's degree in geomatics and computer science.
Currently working as a systems engineer at Norkart, one of Norway's leading companies in the field of geographical information systems, where I have been quietly waging a guerilla campaign for increased use of, and contributions to, open source together with my similarly educated allies. I only run Linux at home, but happily use Microsoft products at work.
