Speaker: Clemens Portele (interactive instruments)
Clemens started to develop software for spatial data in 1989. In recent years he has focused on spatial information modeling, SDI architectures, their implementation and the Web. He is a contributor to INSPIRE (e.g., he chaired the INSPIRE Drafting Team "Data Specifications") as well as to the international standardisation in ISO/TC 211 and the Open Geospatial Consortium (e.g., as editor of GML).
He has supported several open source projects originating from work at interactive instruments and contributed to them:
